Product Description

We've made a handful of one-off headers for these cars over the years, but we've decided to make a production run of these headers, so we are now taking orders!

These headers feature precision laser cut flanges, 1 5/8" runners, v-band clamp connections (instead of slip fit or donut gaskets), 2 1/2" crossover, extra O2 bung for wideband, professional TIG welds, and thermal barrier silver ceramic coating. We've also gone through great lengths to make sure the headers fit your vehicle perfectly, providing sufficient clearance to the transmission, radiator and heater hoses, fuel lines, brake components, fuse box, etc. We've test-fitted the headers on both the 4t60e and 4t65e transmission, which fit without issue and with plenty of clearance for crutial components. We've also designed them to be easier to install than other brands of headers due to our primary design and use of v-band clamps. These headers would be the perfect complement to any NA or supercharged setup, offering a significant power gain and improved sound. Look for gains of around 15-20whp on stock-mild applications, and even higher on highly modified cars. Dyno results coming soon.
Please note that the above pictures are of the prototype set of Grand Am headers which are not shown with ceramic coating.  Once we've made a production run of these headers, we will post updated pictures.

The available downpipe is made of 2 1/2" stainless steel, complete with a v-band flange to attach to the headers, and a 3/8" stainless flange to bolt to the stock cat-back flange. You also have the option to add a highflow catalytic converter. Catted downpipes also include a rear O2 bung. If you opt to not get the downpipe, you will still receive a mild steel v-band flange and clamp to make your own if you choose to.

Headers will also bolt up to a 3400 LA1 engine or a 3500 LX9 engine if you've done a swap.

Please not these headers do not have provisions for the EGR valve, so you will need to block off the EGR port on the intake manifold, and remove DTC's from the PCM.
