EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Recirculation. The EGR valve allows exhaust gas back into the intake manifold to be combusted further. These exhaust gases bring unnecessary heat and unclean air into the intake charge, which has a negative effect on power output.
This EGR delete kit includes: CNC'd 6061 Aluminum EGR block off plate for lower intake manifold, complete with viton o-ring.  Exhaust block-off is made from CNC'd T304 Stainless Steel, and is tapped for M8x1.25 for easy install.  Exhaust block-off does not have o-ring due to extreme temperatures.  Instead it is a press-fit into the EGR hole on the rear exhaust manifold, and we recommend a little copper RTV for sealant just in case, although it's possible it may seal without it.
Note: PCM work or EGR sim device is required to avoid DTC's related to the EGR.
